ELLIS ENTERTAINMENT GOES DUTCH WITH
THE FORMAT CONTENT COMPANY EUROPE (FCCE)

Secures Exclusive North American rights
to hot new format "Hello Goodbye"

TORONTO, January 17, 2006 - Ellis Entertainment has secured the exclusive Canadian and US rights to the Dutch format hit Hello Goodbye from format distributor The Format Content Company of Europe (FCCE) and creator Blazhoffski Productions.

Hello Goodbye answers the hidden questions we've all had while people-watching in the airport. What's his story? Why is she crying, or why are they so happy to see each other? Where are they going and who are they leaving behind? In every episode of Hello Goodbye, the host finds the heartwarming and often incredible stories behind everyday arrivals and departures - stories of love, sorrow, family ties and friendship.

The exclusive deal was announced jointly today by Stephen Ellis, President of Ellis Entertainment and Justus Verkerk, Chief Commercial Officer of FCCE. The deal was brokered by FCCE's Verkerk and Ellis Vision Head of Production Kip Spidell and Ellis Releasing's Head of Sales Caroline Godin.

"The idea behind Hello Goodbye is a simple and pure one, but Blazhoffski and FCCE have proven that true life does indeed make the most compelling television," says Mr. Ellis. "We know Hello Goodbye is going to resonate with networks and audiences alike, and look forward to producing this international hit for North America."

"We are thrilled to be working with Ellis Entertainment in the USA and Canada," says FCCE's Mr. Verkerk. "There are few companies with a 40+ year record of success in television, and we are confident that Ellis will deliver a wonderful English-language version of Hello Goodbye for U.S. and Canadian viewers to enjoy."

The Dutch broadcaster of Hello Goodbye, Ned-1, achieved an average 19% audience share when the show aired Mondays at 22.10 in the Netherlands, and has renewed for a second series that is currently in production with a 50% increase in episodes. To date, Hello Goodbye has been sold to the UK, France, Spain, Italy, New Zealand, Ireland, Finland, Portugal, Romania, Turkey, Czech Republic, Belgium, Sweden, and Australia, where Network Nine & Screentime will debut their version in early 2006.

Ellis's sales and production team will be launching the format to network buyers at NATPE (January 24th to 26th) in Las Vegas and expect a 4th quarter 2006 premiere for the show.
